Hannah Moon: Overview

Hannah Moon

I am a 6th year PhD Candidate working with Dan Wik at the University of Utah. I am interested in X-ray binary populations, black holes, and nearby Milky Way type galaxies. I am also interested in physics and astronomy education, particularly the experiences of neurodivergent students in physics at the undergraduate level. I can be reached via email at hannah.fritze@utah.edu

Current Research

I am currently working on X-ray binary population studies of the Andromeda Galaxy, and was recently awarded time on the NuSTAR telescope to study the population of its southern disk. A list of papers I have authored and co-authored can be found on arXiv here.
