X-ray Binary Populations

I recently published a paper on the NuSTAR view of the XRB population of the disk of M31. The observations used for the paper cover much of the northern portion of the disk. I have made preliminary classifications of the compact object in 9 out of 18 XRB sources in these fields. I also made and characterized 4-25 keV and 12-25 keV band cumulative luminosity functions for the disk. I currently have a paper in prep that focuses on the population of XRBs in the bulge of M31. As proposal PI, I was awarded 825 ks of observing time on the NuSTAR telescope in cycle 9 to expand this study to include new observations in the southern disk, as well as a number of shorter observations of the brightest sources in the northen disk not yet captured by NuSTAR.
